Is spaying/neutering optional?

The surgery is not mandatory for pets but we highly recommend it since they prevent your furry friend from reproducing. Spaying involves making an incision near your female pet’s stomach to remove their ovaries and uterus. For male pets, we remove their testicles with an incision near their scrotum. Does my pet need anesthetic?

Both procedures require your pet to be under general anesthesia. When your pet is put under anesthesia, they will not feel anything while we operate on them. This helps ease any post-surgery pain and makes the recovery process more seamless. Before your pet’s procedure, our veterinary team will give you detailed instructions that will ensure they have a safe and effective surgery.
